Belly Bandit/compression garment

Has anyone used this after baby? Also anyone had c section and used it?  How soon after surgery could you wear one?

After my c-section the hospital had me in a compression wrap right away. I wore it for a month at least. It felt so good and kept my clothes off of my incision while it healed. They also gave me puffy period pads to lay over the incision while it healed. I didn't use it to try and shrink my stomach back to size, just to protect my healing process. My stomach eventually returned to pre-pregnancy size while breastfeeding and with time.

I heard can't used them with c section... not quite sure the reason but in my head makes since since the healing takes longer.. but you should ask your dr/ob

I used mine a few weeks after my baby was born. Within days I started seeing results - my friends all used and loved too.

I didnt, but I purchased a bellefit compression girdle. It's a medical grade girdle that is specifically made for after birth recovery. The one I got was for csections and I could wear it right after birth. I want to try the belly bandit though. The girdle really made me feel normal, but they're kinda pricey. I loved the way it made my incision site feel..like I didn't even have a major surgery
