Bleeding @ 25 weeks..scared/alone

OK , I am sure this is posted everywhere here but I am too frantic to search.
After peeing, I wiped and had bright watery red color blood on the T/P, like  "spotting" before a period starts (not a lot but enough to scare the crp outta me!)

I ran and listened to his HB, which is fine. I have no pain and he is still moving.

It's Sunday morning, I am alone (DP gets back next Friday) and don't know whether I should be worried.

I did lots of shopping and walking yesterday...a few heavy bags, could it be from that?

Hi all i had a small amount of light pinky blood on the t/p after going for a wee... All sorts go through my head... It's awful... After this there was nothing more, then two days later it happened again but the tinniest bit... Touch wood there has been nothing since and that was 3 days ago!! I rang the labour ward and she told me not to panic as I feel well, I'm in no pain and my little man is still dancing away!! But to send a urine sample in to my doctors!! Its bloody scary!! I've got an obsession with checking every 10 minutes!! x

I was getting worried about you girly!  I'm so glad to hear that the baby is fine, now DP needs to get home and rub those feet and cook some good meals for you and make sure you drink all that yummy water.  So glad you went and had everything checked out.  Plus it's always nice to add some pictures of your little man to your collection.

Take Care,
Debbie

Oh good ;o)  I was getting worried, I figured you were still there & that's why you hadn't updated, so glad you both are good!
Yes, it's super important to stay hydrated while pregnant, & that was hard for me, cuz I really only drink water when I'm hot!  But it's a big deal!
My SIL had to stay in the hospital for several days when she was about 30 weeks, she had flown to Hawaii (lucky;) & stayed out in the sun all day & that night had to go to the ER cuz she was bleeding & contracting, did same as you & when she flew back home to AZ she was admitted then for the few days, the dehydration from flying & sun PLUS she drinks diet coke (very bad for you!) did her in for a short while.  Luckily this is a pretty easy fix ;o)
Glad you're well

Happy to see you're doing OK and that baby is fine!

I force myself to drink water during the day and I always carry a bottle or water at home or when working, even if I end up spending half of the day in the bathroom, but I did not know it was that's important!

Thanks Amanda!

I tthought i was doing ok with the water and trying to eat little meals all day but...ufff.

He is perfectly fine. Amazing what not drinking enough water can do.

Still no answer to the bleeding but I do physically and mentally feel better.

I am so relieved to hear that everything is ok.  Not being able to explain the bleeding is so frustrating, but knowing your little boy is ok is such a relief!!!  I had loss of appetite until the last few weeks as well...try nibbling all day, that's what I did and it was way easier then trying to eat big meals.  That way you get the nutrition you need as well.  Take good care of yourself, and so glad to hear everything is basically ok.

Hi all!
What a long day!

Well, Looks like I was having contractions !  I was completely dehydrated, that caused these contractions and my kyrotypes (sp ?) were way off. Not drinking enough water and not eating well.

Baby perfectly fine, cervix nice and long, but my uterus was not cooperating...they called is "way too active"

They still do not know what caused the bleeding but had no blood on my cervix.

They tried 4x to give me the IV and had to call in a specialists to get it in...I had 2 bags of fluid, a sonagram, tests and fetal moitoring.... about 5 hours later all uterus activity calmed down and all tests came back fine except the nutrition/water issue. The IV calmed it all down.

I guess I never realized how important tons of water was and how my non-appetitite has effected me and this pregnancy.

Glad I had it checked out. At least I got a few more 3D pix out of it and a good check out of bambino!  He's fine but I need to take better care of myself.

Thanks girls!

I am holding off until 12 and will go in. I don't like this unknown. It is not much and goes away but...

It's not pink, its not brown, its red, as if its the start of a period.

Have not had sex so it's not that. DP will be very dissapointed when he gets back from 5 weeks away on Friday (no sex...lol) Seems to happen in the morning when baby is active the night before.

Thanks girls, I hate to worry DP or my mom or anyone so handling it on my own.

go in... mine said at 17 weeks that they don't like to see unexplained bleeding.. so I was told no more exercise and to take it easy... just go in and have everything checked..

hey Court,

I second that motion! It is probably nothing, but they can just do a quick check of your cervix and an ultrasound to peek at the placenta & baby. I'm sorry you're going through this and I hope you have a clear answer as to what's up soon.
