Bleeding at 5th week

K01
I am on IVF. My pregnancy  test was done on the 18th October after an embryo transfer. Started with HCG level at 200. I had very negligible  brown discharge on the 20th & 26th& 28th. I started bleeding on the 29ht with bright red. It lasted till night & in the night it changed into brick read. today its very less but still bleeding with muddy brown in colour. I noticed last night it was like the lining which was very thick being discharged.
My HCG level was 14,000 29th afternoon after the blood test . I will be going for a blood test again tomorrow. Can the embryo survive with that kind of bleeding?

Thanks for your comments.
I had a second blood test & Scan confirmed pregnancy loss since HCG dropped dramatically. This is my 4th cycle. None of the others did go this far. Anyway this is fate I suppose

Your HCG level seems to be high, which is a good thing. MelzieWelzie is right, your doc will know for sure. Hope you can hang in there until you can see your doctor!  I hope all is okay!  Was this your first IVF cycle?

I think it's such a hard question to answer.  You hear about miracle babies all of the time.  There can be different reasons for bleeding and only your dr will be able to know for sure.

Did they implant more than 1 embryo?  Some women experience bleeding when one of the embryos doesn't make it.

I hope it works out for you!
