I am really worried. This morning a lady came into work and was talking to me for about 5 minutes before she told me that about 8 DAYS AGO she had chicken pox. She did not know that I am pregnant. She said that they have all crusted over now and are almost gone. I have had chicken pox before when I was younger, and my Dr did an antibody test a couple of weeks ago due to a shingles scare which showed that I have immunity. Do I have anything to worry about or will I be fine? I am almost 17 weeks. I have been worried and stressed all morning! I called my OB and he said if her chicken pox have crusted over they are not contagious and if I have had it before I should be fine, but I cant help but worry!! She said they were crusted and almost gone, but since it was a mild case she only got a few on her legs and arms and I didnt see them so I dont know what they looked like.
