Come to terms....

Ok I have finally stopped crying. My husband is so happy that we arw having a girl. Everyone is happy we are having a girl. I have come to terms with the fact I am now on team pink. Still not real happy but by the time she is born in February I am sure I will be happy. We have picked out her name: Josephine Clara J.

Lol!! I was so set on the thought of a boy, at our big u/s they told us it was a girl and I actually got up from the u/s (with no pants on mind you) to run to the bathroom where I burst into tears! I kept all neutral colors for the new baby- Fine. We're having a girl, but I refuse to make her a girly girl. Lol, the moment I saw her it was all over- it's a girl!!! I think she owns more pink or purple now than anything (she looks so cute in it!). No worries, I totally get how you feel- it will resolve itself :)

I'm hoping for a boy, because I already have one and I just love the idea of having another boy.  However, if it turns out I'm having a girl, I'll find it hard to accept but I'm sure I'll get over it sooner rather than later, since do already have a name picked out just in case.  Glad u got over the disappointment..  congrats!

UnderstAnd you may have wanted a boy but the fact you even got pregnant is a blessing. I have friends who can't have kids at all so I am just greatful I can. And yes am sure you will love her just the same when she finally arrives

Well, congratulations!  I understand it's heartbreaking when you think, feel, and want something to be that it's just a let down when it doesn't go how we planned. I was so certain I was having a boy with my first, and even had the name picked. Then they said "it's a girl" once the shock wore off and my daughter was born. She's a girly girl- painted nails and jewelry but she'll be digging in the dirt with cars and dinosaurs! We are having another girl, and I am completely relieved this time around. Good luck! You'll be a great mom either way!
