This is an alphabetical listing of common abbreviations used in this forum. It is most easily found when you are using the restroom and wipe with white toilet paper. You probably notice CM on the toilet paper. A very good time to check is after a bowel movement, because that action pushes CM to the vaginal opening. The rubbery, gummy type usually precedes EWCM (see below). Place the mucus between two fingers, and separate the fingers to detect how stretchy and fertile your CM is becoming. Some women who do not have noticeable CM do "reach for it," meaning they insert two fingers into the vagina to detect CM at the cervical opening.

Another great resource for this is the Health Page: Common Pregnancy Related Acronyms & Abbreviations.

http://www.medhelp.org/health_pages/Pregnancy/Common-Pregnancy-Related-Acronyms--Abbreviations/show/1?cid=77

It's on the right side panel under Most Viewed Health Pages. What's great about a Health Page is that anyone can add more acronyms to it, so that it's a community resource.

New members also receive an email with a link to this health page for their reference.

You are very welcome, but I can't take the credit here. It was PamelaBee's idea, and a good one at that.  I have been coming here almost a year, and I learned a few I had been puzzled about.  I'm so glad you are finding it useful!
