Cramping in early pregnancy

I just recently underwent IVF and have been getting positive's on my HPT's since 5 days after my 5 day transfer (4 days ago - each day the 2nd line gets darker). (my bloodtest isn't until monday so nothing is confirmed yet) I also have been cramping on and off since about 3 days after my transfer. In fact, right before i got my first BFP, i was convinced AF was coming any minute. Is all this cramping normal? i heard it could be i don't remember having any cramping with my son. I am getting very anxious. Anyone else have this type of cramping in very early pregnancy? and if so, how long did it last? not only is it making me anxious, i feel like i'm running to the bathroom to see if my period is here every other minute!

I am 4 weeks two days, and had bad period cramps for two days when my period should've come. It happened my first pregnancy, too, and is totally normal.

Did you do a fresh or frozen cycle... if it was fresh - depending on your dosage from your trigger shot - the HCG could still be in your system -.  I did a fresh and frozen and I tested about 7 days past a 3 day transfer witht the fresh and it was  negative - I wanted to make sure the trigger shot was out - and then tested 10 dp3dt and it was still negative...cycle failed....  did a frozen cycle - 6dp3dt I had a blood test at my family dr.. thought I had UTI and horrible cramps - test was negative... took a HPT 2 days later BFP - I am currently 33 weeks - so it really could go either way - but when I did get my BFP I was pretty sure I was getting AF - BEST WISHES!! -

I'm almost 5 weeks and I've been having cramps since before my period was due.  Thought it was coming cause of how I felt.  Just another way your body keeps you guessing. :)

Cramping as actually quite normal. I got some cramping with this one. I also got cramping before a miscarriage at 5 weeks too but they were extreme and were accompanied with major lower back ache. I would not worry too much. Nothing will stop you from checking for AF for a while. It took me weeks to stop stressing about spotting and such. Congrats though....I hope the tests are right!!
