Dizzy, tired, nauseous????

Last week Monday I fainted and was taken up in hospital.  My sugar and blood pressure were low.  I’ve been feeling dizzy, very very nauseous and extremely tired since then.  I haven’t felt this bad in ages.  I also have heart arrhythmia due to an extra timer in my heart.  Since this morning I’ve been feeling very bad.  I am constantly dizzy, I’m getting a lot of palpitations and I am extremely tired.  It feels if I am dreaming.  I went to my closest chemist and the nurse took my blood pressure and blood sugar and everything was normal.  What is happening to me? Why do I feel so bad? I also asked my gynea to induce labour but he said I must wait until at least 38 weeks. I am 36.5 weeks pregnant and have not in my life felt this bad.  I have two older boys and my doctor told me it’s normal to feel this bad at 36 weeks of pregnancy – which is BS. I am feeling very sick, but he’s not listening to me.

I also agree with what the others said.  It is not uncommon to feel badly at the end of the pregnancy, but it sounds like you are far worse off then I would feel is normal.  I would see another Dr. and push the issue if you feel something is wrong. Remember, we have to be our own advocates and we know our own bodies best. Good luck, I hope your feeling better soon.

I agree with the other ladies - go back to the hospital for the full gamete of tests.  It's important to make sure that someone listens to you in this case as your symptoms are not normal.

Hi,

if you are feeling so bad go back to the hospital.  Maybe they need to be doing some more monitoring and checking.

The last few weeks are  not fun, but shouldn't be as bad as you are describing.

let us know how you go.
