If you are indeed 7 weeks and your sac was only measuring at 4+ weeks that is not really a good sign. It could be possible that you are earlier then you think. It is also a good sign that you do not have any bleeding/spotting or cramping.
As rdh said, this is a wait and see situation. I have been there, and I know how hard it is. When they do the second ultrasound, they will measure for the appropriate amount of growth in between. If it is right, then your dates are off. But if you truly are 7 weeks, they should have seen a heartbeatHeart palpitations Ultrasound, normal fetus - heartbeat Ultrasound, ventricular septal defect - heartbeat and measuring at 4 weeks is not a good sign. I will keep you in my thoughts. As I said, I have been through this myself and I know what a difficult time this is. Take care and best of luck.
Sadly this could go either way. I hope next Friday you find that little miracle baby in there growing big and strong!!!! Good luck!
