Echogenic Foci at 22 weeks

I went to the doctor yesterday and she told me that they found a bright spot on my baby's heart, I know echogenic foci is related to down syndrome and I would like to know the possibilities I didn't take the text at 18 weeks but I would like to know if it is to late now, or what should I do? I need to go to another sonogram but still, I can't take that out of my mine.. Is echogenic foci always sign of down syndrome or what els can it be?

I don't know specifics but I think many of the "soft" markers for downs and trisomies are also seen in healthy newborns ocassionally.  I am not sure how far along you are but you can always do amnio if you want to know for sure.  Best of luck!
