Ectopic pregnancy pending or something else?

I went to dr today due to pressure over right ovary/hip area. Occasional small pin prick sharp pain over abdomin, like gas.
Bowels working today.

Positive preg test and ultrasound done. No cysts. Can't see embryo cause it is so small ( 3 weeks 3 days). Docs doing blood work every 2 days. 4th of July is tomorrow.  History of ectopic as well as 3other miscarriages.  Over 40. Have one child biologically.  Doc will wait for hcg level reports.

Does anyone know or had experience with this?  Did it end up,as ectopic or normal part of preg such as uterus learning to stretch?

Thanks for advice.
