I wasn't expecting a transvaginalTransvaginal ultrasound ultrasound. I wasn't very comfortable with him removing the polyp and the u/s because of the scarse hygiene I was noticing in the room and his equipment. I'm most definitely getting a new doctor starting from tomorrow. The machine was really ancient, the keyboard cracked and very dusty. It is going to be a miracle if I don't get an infection after this visit!
BUT... I was able to see (kind of...) my baby! It measured 17 mm and the doc said it's a littleLittle noses decongestant Little tummys bigger for my 8w1d pregnancy. The heart beat was visible. It didn't measure the beat. That was all. He then was giving me a glucose solution for the next visit. He wanted to do a glucose test. The thing is the solution was dextrose derived from corn, wihch would have set off my intolerance to sulphur (anything derived from corn is processed with sulphur dioxide). Well, the nurse was really annoyed by it and called me a trouble maker. At the beginning I thought she was kidding but then I realized she really was annoyed!
I'm still bleeding lightly, I hope it will stop by tomorrow. I really hope I won't get any infection and that the polyp is benign.
Good luck to everybody still waiting for their first u/s.

I started reading on the internet about polyp removal during the first trimester of pregnancy and I'm started to get really worried... It seems that often after removal of polyps a miscarriage occurs. I'm still bleeding lightly but it's dry blood (brown).
Anybody experienced polyps during pregnancy? Were they removed?
