well because of my high b/p they are monitoring.. she measures 42% a month ago and we they said they just want to make sure it doesn't go further down... we will see... before that she was 5 days ahead at the nuchal scan and then at my 18w she was right on then at 23 she lost a week. so we will see...
My friend just had her baby yesterday and when she was I think 20 weeks they told her that they couldn't find the baby's stomach. It turned out the baby has a stomach and they found it the next u/s. I know it's hard but I think it's so hard for them to tell things sometimes. I felt so bad for her she was freaking out. Then when they found it they told her that maybe she hadn't eaten in awhile...she had to go like 3 days thinking the baby didn't have a stomach...sometimes you wish they didn't have all these fancy machines....I hope your friend is fine!
She's going to have scans every few weeks to track it.
She's not worried about it. Guess she doesn't spend as much time on the Internet as we do. Plus, this is her first preg.
They can't tell THAT much from ultrasound though. Everyone said my DD was small and she came out at a whoppin 8lb 6oz.
I think life would have been a bit easier before all these tests!
Just an update.
She is now on complete bed rest. Her doctor thinks working at the computer all day could have restricted blood to the baby. Has anyone heard of this? Heck, I'm at it at least 9 hours a day. I've never heard that it's a hazzard...
She's not that worried. She doesn't spend as much time online as we do AND this is her first preg.
I remember how ignorance was bliss with my first pregancy.
Take care of yourself, and thanks for the info.
