I am almost 17 weeks. Today it feels like my lower abdomen is inflating like a balloon... so much constant pressure (going outwards, not down). I have also been going to the bathroom (#2, sorry tmi lol) a LOT (quite the change from first tri when I was wishing I could go more than every three or four days :o) Now it is several times a day and like urgent need to get there quickly (started Friday, it was better yesterday, & started up again this evening). I don't know if this bloating/pressure I am feeling is just stretching ligaments, a baby growth spurt, or a stomach thing...?? It also feels much firmer to the touch just above the pubic bone than under the navel. Any ideas? Similar experiences? If I experienced anything like this during my previous two pgs, I sure don't remember it...
All kinds of crazy things are going on in there..lol. I would have days like that...I practically lived in the bathroom. And as for ligament pain, the timing is about right. It could also have a lot to do with the position he/she is in right now. congrats on your pregnancy, and I wish you a healthy uneventful remaining 23 weeks!!
