HAVE BLOOD CLOT AND PREGNANT

I am very concerned and confused.  I have been told that due to my health issues (thyroid cancer and pituitary stroke and having only one ovary) my chances of getting pregnant were very very slim.  I could not go on birth control due to the numerous meds they had me on.  Well, 4 mos into my relationship....after six years of abstenance.. I am pregnant.  I have a blood clot since July 4 of last year in my vein next to my ovary... is this dangerous???  None of the meds I am are good for people when they are pregnant.. what happens.. I dont see the specialist for a few weeks and i am really nervous???  Oh yeah... I also have von wildebrands disease... (how i got a blood clot is a medical mystery)

Thanks so much adgal.... I did see my regular doctor and an ob/gyn but I am just to complicated for them and they are sending me to the specialist.  A specialty doctor high risk and a ob/gyn who is high risk.  I am just really scared is all.  I know that with my asthma they are thinking that I will have to be admitted into the hospital because of my breathing....

Wow, you do have a lot to deal with right now.  I would say that even if you can't see a specialist for a few weeks, you need to see a Dr. sooner than that, even just a regular MD.  I would get in as soon as you can, for your health and for your unborn babies.

Congrats to you though, I hope all works out well for you.
