HCG increase even miscarry?

First, I want to thank you everyone who help me for my questions during the pregnancy. Unfortunately, the Dr. after looked at my US and said 99% that I am miscarry. Me and my husband have been through the most difficult day in our life. The 1% is not sure by the Dr because my HCG increased and didnt drop. I did my blood work last Friday, HCG 2026. and did another one on Tuesday, HCG 9869. We got the bad news on Wednesday, after 2 days, we have accepted what happened. Because of the HCG, the Dr has me to do another US on next Monday to confirm that 1%. And also he has gave me the pills for bring everything out inside me, but tell me do not take it until the US result is out. I dont believe there is any miracle will happen, but I just curious why the HCG will increase if miscarry? Do any one have knowledge about that? Thank you.

Yay! So glad you waited!! Congrats! Just take it one day at a time, drink plenty of water and take those prenatals and folic acid, and listen to your body and rest when needed! I can't wait to hold my son very soon! God Bless!

Thank you everyone. On my update, the ultrosound turned out with a heart beat! you guys are so right that the 1st ultrasound was too early too tell. I am so grateful that I didnt take the pills and waited! Even though I still have cramping every day, but at least the bleeding stopped. next Monday will have my Dr appointment for the check up again. Cannot wait to share the news with all of you!

You are still very early though here in the uk they wont do an ultrasound until 10-12weeks because that way they definitely know. Your levels are increasing and your only 5weeks or i would wait until you are 8weeks before making a decision and make sure the doctor is doing a vaginal ultrasound. Plus you might not be as far on as you think

Oh and with my last 2 live pregnancies I had cramping and bleeding and thought I would have miscarried, but never did. Turns out I had a SCH which was a bleed on my placenta. So you can have bleeding and still be pregnant, but I understand you not wanting to get too excited and your hopes up, and it's perfectly normal. You will be in my prayers

I took the pills after I had 3 opinions and 2 ultrasounds confirming no heartbeat at 10 weeks. I would do what your Dr said and just wait until the next ultrasound. A few days will not hurt your chances. I had my loss last Oct. I'm now due in less than 2 months with my Rainbow baby. It took me roughly 7 months to get pregnant again, but I had given up trying for a while.

thank you all for sharing your story and I am sorry for your lost too. I will wait till next Monday for my US result. It took us a year to get pregnant, and the happiness only last for 2 weeks. heart broken. I hope I can get pregnant again after this over. and the same experience will not happen again.

If levels keep rising and they never found evidence of sac then they worry it could have implanted outside of uterus/ ectopic--so that's why they keep checking levels. Ectopic cannot continue so pills would probably be necessary at that point.  Sorry for disjointed posts. My heart really goes out to any of you experiencing loss.  It was the worst experience of my life and it lingered and I had to keep going to the clinic over & over again. But--baby on board eventually and definitely worth it!

Post button, sorry.  I

know the emotions & I didn't realize how strong my marriage was until we got through the experience so I am grateful for that! So my level was in the thousands and just to prepare you--I had to return to clinic for bloodwork for weeks afterward. They did US to make sure it wasn't a molar preg and to check for tissue.  Level will increase cWe were able to try again after 1 cycle though and we got preg right away.  App we're very fertile cuz now we're on baby 2 and again it happened on the first try. Hang in there. Time will heal, I promise.

Thank you for the wish. However, I dont want to give myself any hope for the miracle. Because it was very painful when the hope turn down....A lot of people said you can feel it when you are not pregnancy anymore. I do. Not even that, it also came with light bleeding and cramping. But I want to know, if I dont take the pills, can the things still. come out completely? will it possible cause any bad for the further pregnancy? thank you again.

Maybe you haven't miscarried after all. When I had my miscarriage my numbers were really high to begin with, so it took a while to drop. I know it's hard, but I would wait it out and not take the pills. I've seen it happen several times where people thought they had a miscarriage and didn't. Maybe by it not dropping you haven't had a miscarriage...God can work miracles! Good luck!
