Help Spotting or more serious

Help...I'm almost 8 wks and woke this morning with blood. What does spotting look like?

I'm experiencing spotting as well. which started out being very faint Sunday evening, to stopping completely then pinkish again. Now it's just slowed downed completely. Seeing my doctor today.

I'll keep you and your baby in my prayers.

Spotting some brown or pink discharge is pretty common.  If it turns bright red, you have any clots and you begin having pain, then that is a different story.  good luck and let us know what happens with your appointment.

Anytime you have spotting you should call. Some spotting can be normal- usually light pink or brownish discharge in small amounts with no cramping. Usually they look more at heavier,  bright red bleeding as being problematic. But that's not always the case so definitely call to check when your provider.

If you are spotting you need to call your doctor some spotting is normal...but it could also be a sign something is wrong...
