Hip pain

Is anyone else having horrible hip pain during pregnancy. I'm 24 1/2 weeks and can hardly walk around sometimes b/c it hurts so bad.  I even got the sketchers tone up sandals.  Its to the point where I have to take tylenol at night and I hate doing that.

wow we are so on the sme page. Everytime you get a pain I ge or its coming. I toss and turn all night it has been going on for e since I was about 20 weeks. I am now 25 weeks. I have so many pillows that I sleep with. And when I get out of the bed you would think I was 80 years old. But once I get going I am fine, its only when I lay down or sit for a long period of time

I go monday to red my gestational diabetes test, I am probably going to have gestational diabetes this time as well. I normally get it when I am pregnant.

I so feel for you - I struggled with the same thing when I was pregnant - it really impacted my mobility, which was terrible in those last few months.  I started using a cane around 36 weeks, which really helped me get around.  I also highly recommend a pregnancy support belt and a pelvic support belt - you can get both over the internet - I still wear my pelvic support belt and my son is 10 months old.  My doctor referred me to a physical therapist that specialized in pelvic and back pain when pregnant - it helped so much - they give you exercises and the BEST massages in the world.  It allowed me to at least stay in some kind of shape, which was important since I could barely walk.  The good news is that my labor and delivery went really fast  (since my pelvis has overexpanded)- less than 10 minutes of pushing.  SO maybe you all have fast labors in your future!!  Hang in there.

Oh I am with you ladies... I feel your pain! I am having trouble with my hips and lower back. I have a lot of pinching. I can't stay in one position in bed for long as my hips start to ache. I can barely roll over without grabbing the side of the bed or my Husband pulling myself over. I am also having trouble with my pubic bone. I have heaps of cramps down my sides and just above my pubic bone. Not long now ladies I have 3 months to go.. hopefully 2 1/2 lol

I am the same way. I toss and turn at night cause my hips kill me. at times it feels like i can barely walk cause of my hip pain. I voiced concern to my doctor and they said its totally normal and just take Tylenol when needed for pain. Its just your body and ligaments getting ready for the growing baby and delivery =)
