I hear you! I sometimes get hungry, but then the thought of eating makes me ill!! However, I did gain weight in the last two weeks. Yes, I am carrying twins, but geez, not five pounds worth at this point! I have been drinking a lot of lemonade and such. I think that is it...I have always had diet drinks before getting pg.
LOL!!!! Sorry to laugh, but I can't imagine not gaining weight! I'm 37 weeks and up about 38 pounds. I am hungry so often during the day, and I can't exercise at the same levels I could before pregnancy. I eat alot of cereal, several bowls a day because it is low in fat, has whole grains and vitamins. Yogurt. Baby carrots. Crackers. Soup, sandwiches or salads for lunch, and whatever we have for a balanced dinner in the evening. Lots of water to drink, some fruit juice or lemonade when I need some flavor. Low fat popsicles when I need a treat. 3 more weeks and I'm hoping not to gain too much more. At least I'm still less than where I was with my last pregnancy! Best wishes.
I am 15 weeks and in the same boat. I had gained a LOT of weight TTC, so I am not too worried about withering away anytime soon, but my appetite is zero. In fact, I don't even believe I've eaten as much as you have in the last 4 days! I have read up a lort on this subject, and the bottom line is that it is fairly common that people have a low appetite and don't gain a bunch of weight. In fact, I know one woman who actually lost 15 lbs during pregnancy, and several whose weight stayed the same. I have only gained about 4 lbs., and I honestly think that may just be b/c I wore jeans to my last appt!
Perhaps you could buy some protein powder (Designer Whey, vanila flavored is the best tasting) and make smoothies with fruit, yougurt and milk.
As long as your baby is developing healthily and is on target weight-wise, I wouldn't worry too much.
I hear you... I'm almost 15 weeks and I've not been able to stomach much either since I got pregnant. I haven't gained any weight yet. Actually, I may have lost a lb or two. :(
My problem is that I'm throwing up a lot and when I'm not throwing up, I'm queasy. I also don't have a great appetite. I try to eat and only can get down a few bites.
I suppose talk to your doctor about ways to increase your calorie intake, make sure to always take your vitamins, and just do your best! That's what I'm trying to do so far...
