How long after the baby dropped was it till you gave birth?

By your past experience, about how long was it after the baby dropped did you actually have your baby?  I know it can happen hours to weeks before the birth but what's YOUR experience?

It depends. I think It depends on baby weight and how many pregnancies. My first was about a month when I dropped then two weeks later the mucus plug came out. 9lbs 8.3 oz. My second I dropped about 3 weeks before he was born but he was born a month early... My pelvis was hurting so bad with him and I started to go into labor. I got the mucus plus I week before I went into labor. He was 7lbs 11oz... Imagine if I would have waited for him to be born.... at least another 9lb baby.. But you'll notice it.  Others may notice first. It will seem like You can place your hand on the top of your tummy and it will be like air is in there.... Good luck. Hope it happens soon.

The signs I have are- the baby looks lower, easier breathing, easier to actually eat a meal without being full immediatley, less heartburn.  I have to do a lot of bending over at work and that has been hard on me because she's down further.  People have actually noticed and told me too.
