Congrats! my lil guys are 16 mo apart and my first has down syndrome so I know stress. that being said I LOVE Having my 2 close together and I want another 3rd close in age to them.

if we succeed for some reason our 2-3 will be 15 months apart. :)

Are you by yourself, or are you married or with a partner?  This can make a huge difference in your outlook about pregnancy.  Please try to keep in mind that things can look a lot more scary at the outset than they really are when you're in them.

I second the advice to talk to your doctor about the depression.

Congratulations again! I had my first 2 children close together and it was a wonderful experience. They will get to grow up together. I'm 35 and pregnant with my fourth child. I also suffer from depression and I was very stressed about that but I've been able to stay on zoloft throughout the pregnancy and it has helped so much. Good Luck!

I second the congratulations!!  I agree with rdh...you really should discuss this with both your OB and whomever is treating you for depression.  Many pregnant women take meds for depression and things are just fine.  It also sounds to me like this was unplanned?  If so, there is probably a bit of shock to overcome.  Give yourself some time, you may find out you are less frightened and more excited.  Congrats again!!

First Off Congrats! Now take a deep breath! Once you get over the shock you will see the real blessing you have here! Your 15 month old will adore a sibling and you might even have a little helper on your hands!

Does your OB know about your depression? There are many things that you can do to stay a happy upbeat person during pregnancy!

Embrace this special time! It will be all good!
