I am finally a grammy!

I know I have been MIA for a long time, I have been soooo busy this summer! Just wanted to update you all on my daughter and her baby! Little Mackenzi Eyre was born 8/14/09 at 4:45 weighing 6 lbs 7.8 oz and was 20 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful and I could not be more proud of her, Mommy and Daddy! They all did a very good job! She has the darkest blackish/brown hair and dark blue eyes (for now anyways). She came home the following day and had been spitting up and it scared my daughter a bit so they (mommy, daddy and baby) came to spend the night last night and I told them I was sure it was reflux. They took her to the doc this morning and sure enough that is what it was. So they have her on some meds and told my daughter how to handle the situation. Now my daughter is relieved so they are staying at home tonight. I tell you I really hand it to those with twins or those with little ones close together because it sure did take a toll on me lastnight taking care of Kenzi and Brayden..lol But I just LOVEEEE her! She already has grammy wrapped around her finger!


Congrats to those of you who got their BFP's and a very Special Congrats to Rachel on the birth of my cyber grandson..lol I love ya all and miss ya dearly!

She's soooo gorgeous Patty.  I have missed you, but sounds like all is well!  I checked out your pictures...I can't believe how big Brayden is getting and Melisa looks gorgeous!  I can't believe she is in her hospital bed....she certainly doesn't look like she just had a baby. It's still hard to believe your a grammy now, but I can see why that little girl would have you wrapped...what a sweetheart!  XOXO

Patty - Mackenzie is beautiful!!!  It'll be nice for Brayden to have a niece to play with.  Congrats to you & all of your family - I'm so happy for you guys!!!

Congratulations, Patty!  What an exciting time for you and your family...my Mom always swore that she 'suffered (tongue-in-cheek) through parenthood so that she could reap the rewards of grandparenthood!' :)
