I had twins with my first pregnancy your only getting started lol. Im having one this time and I freak out bc not near the amount of movement I felt before. Enjoy it bc it is special carrying one but with two you feel everything twice as much I loved it.
I am 36 +2 with fraternal twin girls. We found out the sexs around week 18. I am 38 years old and never did the amnio. I was too scared of miscarriage plus there was no need. You can test for Downs and Trisomy with blood. My doctor did this through a company called MaterniT21. My girls are perfectly healthy. You will get more energy in your second trimester, but when you hit the third it goes away again. Just listen to your body, take your prenatals, and get lots of protein :) Its super awesome when you start feeling the flutters of movement and then watching the movement under your belly. Take pictures every week!
I had mirror image boys lol which sounds weird but is pretty awesome. They say twins usually come between 26 weeks and up (at least thts what my doc had told me so I would be prepared) but I went to 38 weeks which suprised everyone. Just take care of yourself and definately relax whenever you can. And I found out what I was having at 24 weeks but thats bc they were stubborn and wouldnt let anyone see thank goodness with twins you get more ultrasounds lol
