Just got back from another U/S...Great news but want your opinions!

Hi girls,
Ok so I had my 3rd ultrasound on Monday (8w3d) and the heart rate had gone up from 108 (7w3d) to 126.  Everything measured perfectly for the dates and the RE was happy and was going to release me to the OB.  I on the other hand was very concerned as I still felt 126 was too low.  So the RE agreed to refer me to a Fetal and Genetics specialist as I also through the age factor in to my concerns.
So I just left that ultrasound and we're still shocked....The heart beat had risen to 183!!  They said that they baby measured exactly 8w5 days (which I am) and the baby was moving, it was so cute!  I asked the genetics specialist if he thought I had a higher risk of problems due to what I thought was lower heartbeats in the beginning and he said no, none at all as they don't consider my rates as what they feel is "low".  He said with the results from today, everything looks just great.
So let me ask you guys...and this may sounds sooo stupid....but would you be concerned that it jumped from 126 on Monday (two days ago) to 183 today????  How in the world did it change so dramatically?  I know I still have 4-5 more weeks where things can happen but I'm still so surprised at the change!

If the perinatal center wasn't worried, than I don't think you should worry.. My experience with the perinatal center here is that they don't mess around.. if things don't look right, they are all over it...

Congrats.. this WONDERFUL new!!

Whoo hoo!!   I think this is great!!  This babies HB was high like that in early pregnancy.  Over 180...it made me nervous too, but it dropped down and now it's been fluctuating between 149 and 162.

And I thought I was a worry wart!!  Just teasing you, I totally understand why you worry so much.  Honey, it sounds perfect to me.  Remember that everything is just a range.....these babies seem to do things in their own time. I think the important thing is that it is measuring properly, and that that little heart beat is about where it should be.  Sounds to me like this one is a fighter and going the distance for mommy!  Congratulations Dana, everything sounds perfect!!!  Time to enjoy my friend.

Also forgot to ask...Isn't 183 too high??  I thought the normal range was 120-180?  Yes I know, I love to worry.
