Just pretty bummed out

So I've been away for a while and have been monitoring my cycles here.  It seems that since my last m/c in July my cycles have been getting shorter.   I had one that was 25 days, the next was 24 days and now it is 21 days.  I know with such short cycles there is not a chance to get pregnant.  Anyone have any ideas on what to do to help lenghten my cycles.  Right now I've been taking fish oil, vitamin B complex and prenantal vitamins every day for almost a year now.

Hi udbe2,

I was going to suggest the evening primrose oil, I am going to start using it next cycle. From what I have heard from everyone it just helps balance out your cycle overall and adds to your fertile CM. I hope you are doing better. :)

Hi!

I can only say that when I am under stress my cycles get shorter, and are also shorter in the summer. So, with it being fall now - and if you can reduces any stress (maybe it was the stress of the MC?) - your cycles may normalize themselves. I've heard that vitex is good for lengthening the luteal phase, and Evening Primrose Oil during the first half of your cycle may help as well.

But the best advice is be good to yourself and don't stress!

Best wishes,
~Wendy

Actually, short cycles are not the problem.  If you are o'ing earlier as well and still have 10-14 days from o to AF, there is no real issue there.  I would see your Dr. though, there are things they may be able to do to help you get back to normal.  Good luck.

I was in a similiar situation as you after I m/c and mine was due to low progesterone, so  I started taking progonb(natural progesterone) amongst other vitamins and minerals, which I get through my Naturopathic Doctor.  I've been on progonb for the past 11 months now and they have helped bring my levels back to normal.  This month I'm using only Vitex(natural herb) to help maintain progesterone levels and balance my cycle, so far so good and I'll only use progonb if needed.  GOD BLESS.

Sorry I can't help with any suggestions but just wanted to say "keep your chin up". YOu might need to see your doctor about some treatments to help.

Take care.
