After getting the surgery done and after all these injections and ovulation symptoms my doc has no reason why the follicles are not ruptured and the only answer she says is thats ur bad luck...
not able to breathe...m dieing...can any one help..is anyone listnening...even god doesnt...
I'm so sorry this has happened - 32 mm seems really large for a follicle at day 16 (or approx). That's the first thing that comes to mind. I really don't have answers for this and hopefully there will be someone out in cyber-land who'll be able to shed light on this matter.
Have you tried posting your question on the fertility forum? Those ladies over there are wonderful about knowing their stuff - most of them have been through IUI's and IVF (I went through 2 IVF cycles but not IUI"s) & they might be able to help. Not to sound ignorant, but did your doctor give you a trigger injection to help you ovulate? - jen
I am so sorry you feel this way. Many of us here understand your feelings...wanting a baby so badly and having issues with fertility. I am not sure what type of advice to give you except that working with Dr's seems to be your best bet. If you are unhappy with your current Dr., you should try to find another. And I agree with Jen that you might get some really good info on the fertililty forum. I wish you well and hope that your dream happens. Don't give up, keep searching. The answer is there somewhere, you just have to keep looking until you find it. Good luck to you.
wondering if they did an HCG trigger shot or not?? If not maybe you can ask for one next cycle. It is supposed to trigger ovulation and is given when the follicle is around 20mm.
hello! boy i know how you feel! I have a simliar condition (LUFS - lutenizing unruptured follicle syndrome its called) its apparently rare.. but after over a year of trying to get preg (a lap showing severe endo and removal of most of one ovary) we found my "good" ovary was like this - stubborn! i used oral and injectable fertility meds, and even with the ovidrel (hcg trigger shot) my follicles would still not rupture, at times i woudl have three or four good ones!
My dr increased my trigger shot to a stronger one - novarel... its the strongest trigger shot you can do, and works well for lufs usually.. however even with that shot usually only 1 in 3 follies would rupture... so we would just overstimulate.. at times i'd have 6 or 7 follies and we would trigger and get 2 or 3 to rupture.. we did get pregnant that way though.. and there is deifntely hope! I had to go on the birth control pill one month due to three cysts after a cycle and i got off and we got pregnnat naturally - and we are 27 weeks now!!! so dont give up! its SUPER frustrating, but there are lots of ways out there to help nowadays! : ) Ask your dr about Novarel injection trigger..and stimulating more follicles.. and if that doesnt work IVF should work great as well, since it bypasses the rupturing, but hopefully you wont need that!! GOOD LUCK and keep us updated!
Thank u ladies...u don't know how much this means to us that atleast some one is listening to us.Docs have really made fool out of me and my hubby...we both going crazy...
Ur replies are valuable and i have also posted my query on the fertility forum...

Glad to help! this place saved my sanity esp when i was going through all the fertility and miscarriage stuff! I want to say it was 10,000 units of novarel 36 hours prior to IUI.. Keep us updated and GOOD LUCK!!!
