Nuchal scan done twice now with no luck for measurements.

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone else has been in the same situation as myself.
I am 13 weeks today and have been for my second nuchal scan as we haven't had much luck with my babies postion to get measurements for DS etc....this time or last week.
I'm running out of time as the cut off date for nuchal scans are 13 weeks and 6 days so have another appointment this friday then not sure what will happen if baby is unmeasureable again.
The medical centre where I have been going is so booked up so this friday is my last chance.
I'm getting abit stressed out as really would like to have the nuchal done.
So one more chance at it.
I had to share my thoughts as I have not experienced this nucal scan with my other children before and know how important it is.
Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks Erina

Thanks for all of your comments.
I had my final nuchal scan yesterday and we had only one really ok measurement for back of babies neck.
So back to doctors next week to get results.
I'll be having a talk to my doctor about booking in for an amnio if needed.
I'm not going to stress anymore.
Thanks for your support.

same here, I have a problem of NT scan because of baby's position.  All blood tests came back normal.  I'm not decide to go further test such amnio.  I keep this baby no matter what.  I'm going to have blood test again on the next week, second trismester.  NT scan is only 70% accurate anyway.  Please do not stress yourself about NT scan.  You can move on with diagnostic test which is more acurate.  Good luck

I had mine and all was fine.. are you going to get an amnio? Or were you going to base your decision off the NT?  Would you abort if the baby had downs? If not the NT isn't all that important.. good luck I hope they can measure
