Hey girls, just a lil' update. I decided not to stress over it too much. I'm feeling just fine and Vincent's moving a lot as usual sooo..decided to wait a week for my next appointment.  I'm sure everything will be ok!  Thanks for your help  :)

Sounds like your mucus plug to me too Melanie! I would call, If there is any bloody show that could mean a whole lot more going on, but I would think that dark brown is just the plug maybe. Hopefully!! I will be thinking about you! Please rest, you are way too early to have that lil guy!!

I agree, you should call your OB. It does sound like your mucus plug. With my youngest I lost mine 5 hours before my water broke, but I was just about 40 weeks. It had darker streaks and there was alot of it too.

Losing your mp does not mean labor is going to start right away, but call your doctor anyway because it is more common to lose your mp after 36 weeks when the cervix begins to soften. Best wishes.

Sounds like it to me.

I'd call your OB.  They can check to see if your cervix is dilating and keep an eye on things.  There are meds than stop pre-term labor, but like Sandi said it can happen earlier on.  With me, I lost the plug then started going into labor within hours.

Also, your chances of everything being OK if you have your baby now are great.

Please keep us posted!
