My POTS (caused either by my Ehlers Danlos III or by the meningitis and encephalitis I had a few years ago) was basically under control until last week- about 17 weeks pregnant. Now if I lie down my HR is about 70bpm and 102 if I sit up, 140-155+ if I stand. Aside from how it makes me feel, I want to be sure baby is ok. My drs aren't much help. My BP gets down to 60something/40something, but I don't pass out. Thoughts?
Wow, that's scary. A friend if mine had valley fever with racing heartbeat from infection and it took a long time for it to get better. I would just check again with the doctors, as long as you're feeling good and baby is okay. Just take it easy and don't over extend yourself
