Please help...confused

Ok, so I started the progesterone suppositories today...twice a day I am supposed to insert...however, I need to know the rest of the neccessary information.  My period is due on Tuesday October 12, so will it come? even if I am not pregnant??  And if I do a negative test, then do I stop the suppositories until I ovulate again??  Please advise, as my OB didn't give me much information.  Thanks so much!!

That is exactly what I figured...well I will continue to use these slimy buggers till Monday...and I will do a test that day.  If negative, I will stop until I ovulate!  Thanks so much!!

Hi there.  I typically took the progesterone as soon as I got a BFP.  If you are starting them just after ovulation (I did this once or twice), typically your period will not come on it's own.  During those cycles, my OB had me stop them as soon as I was certain I was negative, then my period would come a few days later.  I started them again after next ovulation.  I can tell you that I wasn't crazy about doing it this way as it messed up my cycles a bit and became more difficult to predict ovulation.  Most have women start when they find out they are pregnant.  Good luck to you!!
