I don't pretend to know much about ablation, but everything I have heard says that pregnancy after ablation is not recommended. I would work with your OB and follow his or her advice on this. Take care, Amanda
I just recently found out that I am pregnant after having the ablation done 7 years ago. At that time my doctor informed me that I would not be able to have any more children and never gave it a second thought in the last 7 years. I am just very concerned and worried due to the fact most of everything I have read is very sketchy and confusing. I see the doctor on Wednesday and will have ultraUltra choice multivitamin/mineral Ultra choice multivitamin/mineral mature formula Ultra fresh Ultra fresh p.m. Ultra-natal sound. Never thought this would happen considering I am 43 and sending my oldest off to college and youngest will go in a couple years!
So of course I am confused and scared! Any supportSupport Support 500 or info would help tremendously!
Hi Jen and welcome! If I could make a suggestion...start this as a new post. You have posted on the end of an old one and will probably get more responses if you start your own.
Pregnancy after ablation can indeed be worriesome. I don't have a lot of advice to give you except that I am sure your Dr. will be monitoring you very very closely and will work with you. It has been done successfully at times and I hope the outcome is the same for you. I truly wish you well. Amanda
