No, I have not been charting bbt, but I have been tracking and noticing the other signs of ovulation. This month I actually felt pregnant. I felt a fullness in my upper belly which is how I knew I was pregnant with my first. It is almost like I am ovulating and the egg is getting fertilzed but its not able to implant. I think I'll go see my OB to make sure nothing is wrong.
no i didnt use any kind of O predictors, i just listened to my body and went with my O pains....cramping around the area that ovaries are....and charting CM....hopefully you will get your bfp soon, there are alot of women who get thier bfp using a monitor of some sort...are you charting your bbt (basel body temp)???
My cycles have been fairly regular the past 5 months, averaging about 30 days. The first two cycles after Mirena were 32 and 36 days. Did you get an ovulation predictor? I am considering getting a fertility monitor. I say this because I "thought" I knew when I was ovulating but obviously not.
oh btw i was 34 when i got pregnant and turned 35 2 weeks later...dh was 43 and turned 44 a week later.
i got off of Merina IUD May 2,08 and my cycles were crazy...first cycle was 39 days(may 2-june11) then 27(june11-july7),25(july 7-august 1) and 30(august 1- august 31) days....august 31 was my last cycle...i got pregnant on sept 14. and am now 13 weeks along
just wanted to share that it does take some longer than others but dont give up hope. i knew when i was O and i tracked my cycles from the time i got off of Merina. i KNEW i had a 16 day LP and so when i had the cycle of 30 i KNEW that it was a normal cycle. i knew when to bd...and made sure if not the day OF then the day before O we bd....lol
good luck to you and hopefully it wont be much longer for ya.
relax, and enjoy each other....and just let it happen
Thanks for the good advice.
Well, not after Mirena specifically, but I did go off of Depo Provera a little over a year before we started trying to conceive. It was at my OB's suggestion, as it can take quite some time to regulate your cycle after any hormonal form of birth control.
Are you using an ovulation predictor kit at all? I just ask because if your cycles are somewhat irregular right now, it may better help you pinpoint ovulation.
Don't be bummed!! It will happen, and really, 7 months isn't that long although I certainly know how frustrating this can be. Maybe make an appointment with your OB. Not a bad idea to have him/her check things over.
Best of luck to you!!!!
