Her diagnosis was trisomyDown syndrome 18. I do have faith that everything will be alright but I will feel better once I get further testing and I am 39 yrs old and I will turn 40 in April. I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter and congratulations on this pregnancy. I recently had a m/c at 16w and my dr is testing for trisomyDown syndrome 18, we're waiting for the results. With that said, I have read a lot about trisomyDown syndrome 18 and from everything I've read, your chances of having a baby with t18 again are no higher than any other womanWomen's way. I hope that sets your mind at ease. If you look up trisomy 18, you will find that your risk is not any higher b/c you've had a baby with t18. I wish you lots of luck and try to relax. The testing will set your mind at ease.
