I am 32 weeks pregnant and our Labrador is about to give birth to puppies. I would like to know if there are any risks associated to me assisting with the birth of the puppies whilst I am pregnant.
Thanks all. My husband had to leave today for a 10 day business trip and the Vet seems to think the puppies will arrive in the next couple of days. Hoping they wait for 10 days :) I bought latex disposableDisposable enema gloves. According to the Vet one needs to free the puppies from the sack that they are being born in and clean their mouths with a towel to ensure that they can breathe.
I was just concerned that there might be something that could affect me. I guess I will have to call my gynea and check with him.
