there's a cherry flavored gum called nausea but its spelled with A z I think. I ordered it on Amazon it got good reviews and keeping my fingers crossed. Zofran got some negative reviews but it helps me tremendously. When I take one I completely have my life back but I don't know if I'm risking the baby it makes me feel horrible when I take it cuz I feel guilty.
I did too and some ladies on here suggested to try and eat a lot of protein. It helped! I also find that it gets worse when I get hungry. So at 14 weeks, I am still not having much of an appetite, so I force hard boiled eggs down and I eat a lot of cereal! I am always hungry for something crunchy, cold, and wet! Getting past the nausea and eating very frequently has helped me. Also, maybe try taking your vitamins at a different time of day.
Good luck, I'm 18 weeks on diclegis and Zofran, still yakking every day. Just be thankful that we have been blessed wish our babies!
Yes I hope so I am so hungry. My hubby just went to go get me ginger ale..I'm craving peanut butter so bad but the smell of it I just can't do it...
I started getting nauseous around 5 weeks. Soon after that, I was throwing up all the time. I tried ginger ale, saltines, vitamin b6 and unisom, but nothing helped. I wasn't able to keep anything, including water down. I ended up getting a prescription from my dr for zofran. Around 15 or 16 weeks it finally went away. Hopefully you find something that helps and it doesn't last too long.
Thank you so much I just ate a snicker I told my husband omgosh I can eat snickers..I threw it up..I been drinking water and Powerade all day..But I will force myself and try all the advice..
Seabands! They helped me alot when the morning sickness set in. It's better now. I'm 13 weeks.
Yes, try to tough it out if you're able to function. Keep trying fluids. Talk to your doc at your first appt. There are meds if needed but all meds have side effects (like headache or severe constipation--yay). I survived on hardboiled eggs & Rice Krispies early in my first preg. Ginger tea, chicken soup, jello, whatever u can keep down. You can try acupressure sea bands. Don't be afraid to call OB. I had to be admitted for fluids this time around. I did acupuncture tx early and it def helped but I couldn't afford to continue 2-3 x wk.
Try some ginger ale and crackers. Something very small and anything with ginger in it should help. Good luck!
Yes I had that early on. It gets better but I did lose about ten pounds before I got my appetite back and wasn't nauseous anymore. You'll have to force yourself to eat though, and even if you throw up you've at least got some kind of nutrients. Try keeping crackers at your bedside so when you are up at night you can have one. That helped me be less sick in the mornings.
