were you in an accident?  is it a matter of losing your teeth?  i worked in dental for 18 yrs and in emergencies we did see people early , mid and late pgs. oral health is very important, when infection is a cause, but i dont really know what your situation is.

there is a dental board here, you can ask a question for a dentist there, but you need to be very specific as to what and why the dds is doing.

My dentist told me he wouldn't do anything in the 1st or 3rd trimesters.

Hi, check with your Ob.  My Ob suggested 2nd tri for teeth cleaning because he did not want me to throw up on the dentist lol

Unless it's an emergency I personally have decided to abstain from any dental work (except cleaning in 3rd trimester). I know I have a cavity but I prefer to wait. I am in the 3rd trimester now but I would definitively not have done any dental work in the 1st trimester. That's only my opinion!
