Prenatal vitamins- breast tenderness side effects?

We began TTC again on 1/1/11.  I began taking Prenatals again.  Since then, Ive been experiencing breast tenderness.  Has this happen to anyone?

About 2 weeks after I started taking Prenatals my breasts got really sore for almost a month. I was not pregnant. I dont believe it is a side affect of the Prenatals themselves but every woman is different. It could have just been my body adjusting to all the new changes of TTC and a healthier lifestyle.  Good luck! SSBD!!

I didn't get this from prenatals, but I can tell you that since having Ryder, and the return of my cycle when he was around 5 or so months, I experience breast tenderness and other pregnancy type symptoms around ovulation time.  I posted about this as well because I knew it wasn't pregnancy..it was before, during and just after O.  In addition to mild breast tenderness I also have some nausea (very mild).  I mentioned it once to my Dr. and her comment was it was just the hormonal change post partum. It may or may not go away. I am trying to remember how long post partum you are...about 16 months or so if I remember correctly?  Perhaps you are just noticing now because you are ttc again, and we all know how "body aware" we become during that time.  Anyway, just a though.  Like Annie said, I don't think there is anything in prenatal vitamins that could cause this.

BTW, sorry I haven't sent you a pm yet...am just back and getting caught up. But glad to see you back!!  I missed you!!!  Good luck on ttc again!!

Wish that were the case but it did actually begin the same day I began prenatals and I am only on day 10 of my cycle. Too soon to tell yet.

Maybe you're pregnant.  Prenatals alone don't make the breasts sensitive.
