Progesterone levels for BFP??

Hi - I am hoping that someone can offer some advice!  I've posted this question in the past on the Fertility forum, but I thought that this might be a better place for some answers...

In Jan. 2007, I got pregnant (my one and only time); turned out to be a blighted ovum.  During that experience, my progesterone at 7 days past ovulation was 58.7, which was the 'telling' sign to the nurse that I was probably pregnant.

My question is will I have to get a number that high again in order to be pregnant? Meaning if I get a progesterone result back that is more like 12 or 14, does it mean that there is no chance I am pregnant?  I know that A woman can carry a pregnancy with progesterone above 12, but do you think that the numbers are the same for each pregnancy that one woman has???

Is there anyone who has had multiple pregnancies with very different progesterone results?

Thank you for any help!!

Progesterone levels have little to do with telling you are pregnant.

Just saying you ovulated.

My first months were 42.5

Second month 61.7

And i wasn't pregnant any of those times, but my dr said that i was ovulating,

It does not indicate pregnacy at all.

Yes your progesterone can be different levels.  When I had my ectopic my progesterone was in the 30s and held steady..  later when I had a viable pg, my progesterone was 20 (18dpo), then dropped to 16 and then 11. They put me on suppositories and I carried to term.

good luck!!
