You can also take zantac 75 or 150 like tabker I have had heartburn from the get go! and everytime I decide oh I am feeling  better boom its back again. Rolaids, mylanta, maylox any of them are safe. My doc gave me a whole list of safe meds I can take for almost any situation... aure came in handy! I hope this helps and you start feeling better =) Not too much longer... hang in there

Prilosec.. you take it once a day whether you feel the heartburn or not.. if you take it everyday, you won't experience any heartburn at all.  Some days I'll forget or I start thinking maybe I don't need it anymore... and O boy it comes back full force.

It is a class c drug tho, so it hasn't been tested on pregnant humans but dr told me it was okay to take. I've googled and found lots of people take it all during their pregnancy and there are lots of articles about it being safe to use during pg.  You might want to call your dr first and see what he/she says.  If you do, let me know what they say.

Sorry about the heatburn.. I know for me, it is BAD!!
