Shooting pains through breasts

I have been experiencing sharp, shooting pains through my breasts.  I mean they hurt bad.  I have always had fibrocystic lumps in my breast which occasionally hurt, mostly just tender.  Caffeine is supposed to make them worse but I have all but quit my caffiene habit.  Now, I actually have random shooting pains.  Anyone experiencing anything like this? Jeez this is not a conversation I want to have with my doctor.

Both. I've had the sharp shooting pains actually wake me up. I was so concerned I went for my mammogram 2 months earlier than I was supposed to because of the concern I had. Thankfully everything checked out alright. I was told it was all from the fibrocystic disease.

Do you have random shooting pains, or are they only painful to the touch?

I, too, have fibrocystic disease of the breasts and that is my main complaint. Although, I'm not pregnant like you.
