Should I be worried about dark orangey colored discharge?

by dainsey, Jul 04, 2009 12:03PM
Hi girls,
I'm 12w 1 day today.  I noticed this moring I had this dark yellow, almost orangey colored discharge and of course I'm a little worried.  I had my last ultrasound at 10w5d and everything was great.  It was just a little bit of discharge and nothing else and to be honest I had yellow/amber colored discharge with my daughter Sofia but of course with my miscarriage history I'm worrying.  Think the odds of having a great heartbeat at 10w5d is a good sign all will be ok?  I thought I read somewhere that if you make it to that point, your miscarriage risk really drops.  Anyone have that colored discharge?

My title should have said yellow/orangey discharge.

Oh yeah.  I have had it since about 6 weeks or so.  It is something else that drives me nuts!  I am not sure if discharge is the right word.....for me it is very liquidy.  I asked my OB about it and she wasn't concerned...although she gave no explanation.

You are right (as far as I have read) about 10 weeks with all well being a real milestone.  Your chances of loss decrease dramatically, almost the same as being out of first trimester.  I would say you are most likely safe now.  I know, every thing still makes you anxious...me too.  But I think Dana that you are going to make it!!  I would bet on it!!

Still, I would mention the discharge next appointment, but I doubt it's anything to worry about....lol, listen to me advising someone not to worry.....

XO

I have had the same thing, pretty much this whole pregnancy. Mine is also very liquidy. I have heard it is very normal.

I have heard you chances are almost cut in half at 10 weeks and tehn again when you reach your 2nd trimester, so we are all 3 doing very good here. As well as I have heard that once you get a heart beat your chances go way down. I think you are looking pretty good right now!

Happy 9 months!!!!

Yes... I do have yellowish discharge... I read online and asked my doctor.. she said it's normal.. as long as it's doesn't have odor or burning... if you do have that.. then you might have infection... other than that... we are doing okay..

I am 12 weeks exactly today..

I had this and still sometimes do and I am 31 weeks, I asked my dr and he said it was very normal, lots of woman have it and the color can come for our dark pee,and vitimins add with hormones and we get a great mix of stuff coming out down there and as long as not itching, oder,or burnting all is good, best of luck to you all!!

I think it's your bladder leaking or something.   I've noticed that before and that's what I was told.  I'm pretty sure this may be the same thing you're experiencing.....Happy 4th of July!!!!
