Should I be worried?

by cowgirl74, Sep 10, 2009 04:49PM
I recently went to the ER with a terrible back ache. It felt like I just needed to go to the chiropractor. I found out I was pregnant. My HcG level was 754. They did not see anything on the ultra sound except a cyst on my ovary. The ER  doctor was afraid it might be ectopic. I went to the doctor two days later and my hcg level increased to 1389. The nurse said that it was still too soon to tell. I went back for more blood work today. My level only increased to 1800. The nurse said they want me to come in Tues. for an ultra sound. She said the dr was worried that my levels had not doubled and that they were also going to check my progesterine levels. I will be six weeks on Tues. I am really worried...

I'm sorry you are going through this. I don't know much about hcg levels so can't help you there but I do know what it's like waiting and wondering. Try to keep busy and time will pass. This is out of your hands but you are pregnant right now so try to enjoy that as much as you can.

Take care.
