Speed up dilation?

Do any mom's have advice how to speed up dilation, I've been contracting for 5 days straight most of the time every 5 min or less occasionally I slow down to every 10 min and I haven't gotten past 1cm. I went to the hospital but I wasn't progressing so they sent me home. The contractions have gotten so painful that I told my husband it is making the pain I had when my kidneys failed feel like a walk in the park but my cervix still isn't budging. I don't know how much longer I can take this pain without loosing my mind. I also have a bicornuate uterus that is split completely in half to my cervix but I didn't think that would affect my labor.

Thanks! We followed up with the doctor today, while it took 5 days of constant contractions to go from 1 to 2 cm I also went from 25% effaced to 100% and to zero station. They did a second membrane sweep today too, so were crossing our fingers!

Evening primrose oil in your vagina will help soften your cervix. Sex! I know you don't really feel like it, but his ejaculate has a hormone in it called oxytocin. Piocin is the synthetic form of oxytocin and will help if you are already in the early stages of labor. Also, your or gas will bring on more contractions. Get up. Walk. Move around. You need gravity to do its job.
Most importantly,  relax. Anxiety and stress about labor can actually slow down and even stop labor. Good luck, Mama. You're almost there.
