Spotting

6 months ago I had a miscarriage when I was 6 weeks pregnant. 3 days after having a pelvic exam I started spotting, however my Dr advice that I stay off my feet and if I filled up a pad then i should go into the ER. I rested all day and every time I would go to the bathroom my spotting increased until i couldn't stop the bleeding,  by the time I got to the ER I had lost too much blood they had to proceed with a DNC. Well today I am 6 weeks pregnant and a couple days ago I had a pelvic exam and today I had a vaginal ultrasound.  I went to the bathroom a few minus ago and I am feeling out because I have started to spot again. I know my DR is going to tell me to wait until I bleed more,  I don't want to loose this baby any advice? What should I do? I'm freaking out!!!

Talk to your doc or do some research online on progesterone cream. I had to use it with all my pregnancies to hold it. First one I had to use it till 38 weeks and this one only till 17 weeks when the placenta took over progesterone production. It has done wonders for me and some of my friends whom have had mc issues. You can call around to health food stores or I got mine on Amazon. Emerita is the one I just used. I hope this comment will help. Best wishes.

I am sorry you are going through this. It is very common to spot after a vaginal ultrasound and a pelvic exam. It is also common to spot after sex. I spotted around 6 weeks with my pregnancy for about a week straight. Then again for a couple of days around 16 weeks. I am now 21 weeks pregnant and everything is perfectly normal baby is healthy. Its very common to spot in early pregnancy. Take care praying for you!!!
