Super Tired

I am 38 and 9 wks. This is my 2nd pregnancy,9 years later, and I find myself tired and can barely get out of the bed. What do you do to stay energized through your day especially as a working mom?

Yea, I was and am the same way.  This is my 2nd pregnancy, and to be honest I was just as exhausted in my first pregnancy when I was 26 as I am now at 35 except this time I'm vitamin D deficient and that really takes energy away.  I have heard that  vitamin b12 gives a energy boost, but haven't been taking it.  Probably cuz I'm afraid of not being able to sleep at night since I was suffering from pregnancy insomnia early on.  Luckily I have a very supportive husband who's been doting on me and reading up on pregnancy and what women go thru.  It's tough, just take care of urself to ensure ur having a healthy pregnancy, ull get ur energy back soon.  Goodluck!

I was exhausted my first trimester. It was ridiculous. I'd sleep 8-10 hours at night and need a 3 hour nap during the day- and still had no energy during the day. I'm almost 34 and 21 weeks along. I really notice a difference in the fatigue from my first two pregnancies in my 20's.  I just try and nap when I can. I try to fit in a bit of exercise to help boost energy levels.  There's not much more you can do but give in!
