Thin positive line on HPT?

Im only 8 dpo (if i have a normal cycle?) and yesterday my test had a thin, faint, blue vertical line. I took the test apart and the back of the strip clearly shows a blue line.  I took another test this morning, but it was neg. Here is a link to the pics:

Its hard to know what is going on - it could be a positive (very, very, faint) or a false negative as adgal said. Take a digital - no guess work in those.

In all honesty, I do not trust the blue dye tests.  I have had tests that look positive, I would have sworn were positive, but were in fact negative.  The best thing to do would be to retake the HPT using a very sensitive (as you are early) test, such as First Response.  Use first morning urine, and perhaps even give it a few more days.

Sorry, I don'[t mean to be negative, I have just had it happen too many times with the blue dye to trust them.  Good luck, I hope it is a positive!!
