True contractions?????
I'm 39weeks and 3 days been having bad cramp like pain off and on and sharp pain across my stomach once and a while. Is this braxton hicks??
I went in 2 weeks ago and I was 0% dialated. Not close to 5 min when it happens. But I'll keep track cuz it's close.
Okay, then it's contractions. It just means you're dilating. Do you know how many cm dilated you are? Braxton hicks don't cause dilation and aren't painful. Start timing your contractions and if they get 5 minutes apart call your Dr. or head to the hospital.
My real contractions with my daughter felt like gas pains and constipation. What I have been feeling the past few days are more like period cramps. But I know they can be different with each pregnancy, so I'm just waiting for them to get closer together.
