Tubes were untied Dec 2009

My question is . I had a tubal ligation reversal. The surgery went well. The doctor said he ran dye through my tubes to see if the surgery was a success. I haven't got pregnant yet and was wondering if I should ask my ob if she can check my tubes or is it too soon?

You could ask the doctor to re-check the tubes if you don't want the anxiety of not knowing if they scarred shut after the surgery, but since you are 43, you also could have perfect, open tubes and it would still take this long.  What is your history?  How long ago was your tubal ligation and when was your last pregnancy (if you have had one)?  If you have had other pregnancies, it will be easier to get pregnant again at 43, especially if they were relatively recent and you never had any trouble getting pregnant.
