You should take the medicine. If not you will be at risn of having contractions and may deliver very early putting in danger your baby. Please take them. I had the same thing at the begannig og my pregnancy and I had no problems neither my baby. Good luck!

Macrobid is safe during pregnancy.  Much safer to take it. Utility can turn into a kidney infection that will most likely put you in the hospital or cause preterm labor. It will not help you throat though. It only works in the urinary tract.

You need the antibiotics if you have a UTI.  It's a bacterial infection and won't go away without it. Macrobid is safe during pregnancy.  Having an untreated infection to on is dangerous for you and your baby.  It can cause you to have a kidney infection and go septic (which is when the infection gets so bad it goes into your blood stream). Take the meds and you'll be fine!

Uti's or any infection can cause you to go into preterm labor so it is important to take your antibiotics. Good luck..

I had a UTI last month and took the course of antibiotics. It's worth it as I feel better and I know untreated they turn into a nasty kidney infection. I did eat probiotic yoghurt every day and also in the morning drunk a half lemon in hot water. I had to stop the lemon after a week or so as it gave me acid. But I've not had a UTI since. Keep drinking water to flush it out. But I do encourage you to take the tablets. I understand how you feel about tablets but it's worth it for baby. Be reassured that your gyn would never prescribe meds that would damage your little one. Good luck :-)

I doubt you would be given any harmful meds during pregnancy. Ideally they like you to recover quiker durinng pregnancy.  Better for baby abd you.
