Uterine Polyps?

Uterine Polyps?

Hi everyone!  I'm new here and just found out I'm pregnant with my 4th child.  Just last week I was at my dr. because I had been having really bad periods.  She did a sono and said I may have a polyp.  Then yesterday, I took a pg test and it was positive.  So...now I'm worried because I've read that uterine polyps can lead to miscarriage AND I had a sono and she didn't see any baby (didn't know I was pg at the time).  I was barely 4 weeks pg when I had the sono, though, so maybe that's too early to see anything.  Anyway...I was wondering if anyone has carried a baby to term while having uterine polyps?

Thanks for responding!

I have two cervical polyps that have cause severe bledding for the first three months of my pregnancy.  They put me in for surgery on 6/27 by spinal block and tried to remove them, but the doctor said they were too large and would have cause more bleeding to remove them then to just leave them be.  I haven't bled for almost two months and I will be six months on Friday.  I'm not sure if cervial and uterine polyps are the same.  My are about 2cm up into my cervix.  Not sure if they are similiar or not.
